EGFLEET

• is a charity providing accessible transport for people with mobility difficulties, such as the elderly, disabled or people in other circumstances that make it difficult for them to use public transport.
• we are very proud of the fact that we operate with volunteer drivers who give up their valuable time to transport our passengers.
• our booking system works best if we are given plenty of notice to arrange an appropriate time slot, driver and vehicle. 
• our drivers provide a friendly door to door service.
• all our vehicles are adapted to carry disabled people, their wheelchairs and pavement scooters.
• we operate in East Grinstead and all the surrounding villages and rural areas.
• we take our passengers to many destinations, such as day centres, the theatre, supermarkets, routine appointments or just to visit friends.

EGFLEET NEWS

The Trustees of East Grinstead Council for Voluntary Service have reviewed CVS and EGFLEET operations and decided to invite organisations with an interest in operating community transport to consider merging with EGFLEET.  The Trustees are keen to find an organisation which shares our commitment to the people in East Grinstead and the surrounding villages and rural areas, and which can strengthen and develop our transport service to local elderly and vulnerable people unable to use public transport.  Formal proposals are requested by Monday 23rd November 2009.  For further details please see EGFLEET NEWS page.

EGFLEET has the following vehicles:

EGBUS

EGBUS is a community transport minibus, is hired by local community groups and organisations.

EGDART

EGDART is a door to door service for any person who is unable to use public transport.
